Survey of an ancient cistern in Ceglie del Campo
During the removal of the paving stones for the redevelopment of Piazza Diaz in Ceglie del Campo, an ancient cistern dating back to April 16, 1811 was discovered. The cistern features a relief depicting two angels.
The experts at Archimeter intervened to conduct not only a 3D laser scanner survey of the cistern's structure and the surrounding Piazza Diaz but also a detailed survey of the uncovered frieze using photogrammetric techniques, in order to create a 3D model for prototyping purposes.
