Old lighthouse - Brindisi

The technicians of Archimeter carried out, on behalf of the Ministry of Infrastructure, the geometric survey of the entire metal structure of the lighthouse located on Castello Alfonsino in Brindisi. The structure consists of a lattice tower and a lantern. The survey included 3D modeling using laser scanner 3D surveys, aiming at the future disassembly, cataloging, and preservation of the entire existing metal apparatus.

The survey involved accurately depicting the metal components to scale and in their actual shape, including the specific node types. This allowed for the definition and computation of the volumetric dimensions of the entire structure to be dismantled.
