3D Laser Scanner Surveys and Enhancement of the Macellum - Forum of Durres

The Macellum-Forum of Durres, a symbol of power during the Byzantine period, features a circular plan with a diameter of approximately 40 meters, surrounded by an imposing marble colonnade.

To enhance and preserve this archaeological site, the skilled technicians at Archimeter have conducted 3D laser scanner surveys to create 2D and 3D graphical documentation.

Additionally, equirectangular photos have been taken to texture the point cloud and create a virtual tour, allowing remote exploration of the archaeological site's details from different perspectives.
